When people talk about traditional British food that foreigners must have it is fish and chips. The dish is very popular and common so people can find it in most cities. The one I really recommend in Chester is Blockstocks Fish & Chips.
The bright, clean restaurant is near the Information Centre and Chester Cathedral and visitors can find it easily. There are two floors which means people do not need to spend much time waiting for available seats. For meals, different types of fish are provided such as cod and haddock. The prices are reasonable and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The restaurant also serves a limited daily special meal which is recommended and sells out quickly. The best way I recommend to have it is sitting in and sharing it with friends rather than taking out because fish portion is quite big and there are a lot of chips as well. When people eat in with friends, they can enjoy the delicious meal, the happy atmosphere, and reasonable prices.
I recommend foreigners have fish and chips when they visit the UK. Not only are they delicious but also special. I think fish and chips is from the UK, so when people are here , they should try the local dish before they leave.
